| How do I get my Friesian's hair down to the ground like your horses? |
| Washing, washing, washing. Depending on in which climate you live in, you have to treat hair different and use different products. In Germany, where it is moist and cool most of the time, we use silver soap to wash and Showsheen to brush the mane. Using those products here in California in the hot sun would be killing the horses mane in an instant (we learned that the hard way). Here we use Mane and Tail soap to wash and oilbased treatments to brush the hair afterwards to keep it from breaking. Always keep the mane in a french braid. |
